Photographing KayLee’s Vibrant Spirit at her Senior portrait session in Geneseo, NY

This week, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing the spunky and fun-spirited KayLee at a beautiful private residence in Geneseo, NY. KayLee is a graduating senior with a passion for life that shines through in every photo we took together. As a proud member of the Trap Gun Club and a dedicated Firefighter with the Mumford Fire Department, she brought a unique energy to the session that was an absolute joy to capture.

Our session began up on a hill where a graceful willow tree became the perfect backdrop for KayLee’s vibrant personality. The light filtering through the leaves highlighted her playful side, and we had so much fun exploring the area for the best angles. From there, we moved on to the breathtaking Long Point Sunflower Field, just a short drive from Rochester, NY. The golden blooms were in full glory, and KayLee’s excitement was contagious as we made the most of this stunning upstate New York location.

One of the highlights of the session was when KayLee proudly showed off her rifle. Her confidence and pride in being a part of the Trap Gun Club were evident, and it was inspiring to see how she combines her love for this sport with her commitment to serving her community as a firefighter. These moments captured the essence of who KayLee is—bold, dedicated, and full of life.

As I look back on these fun and lively images, I can’t help but feel excited about the future milestones KayLee will undoubtedly achieve.
