Josh + Tiffany | Couple’s Session in Mt Morris

I could go on and on about this session!! I know Tiffany from high school and regrettably haven’t see her since! I asked Tiffany and Josh to come play in the fall leaves with me last month for some creative autumn couples fun! It meant a lot to me when they said they would and we hiked over to Mt Morris and met at Al Lorenz Park. (One of my favorite places to shoot!) There is so much to offer from this park but I wanted to concentrate solely on them and the fall leaves so we only staid mostly in parts that had some pretty color peaking through.

When they first arrived, I explained that this was all meant to be fun and there was zero stress for this session. I always hope my Clients go into their session knowing that the more they relax and have fun, the more confidence shines through and the better the images will come out!

Within minutes we were all laughing and having a good time with posing prompts. I knew they would be so fun to work with and they did NOT disappoint!!

In no time at all, they were already in advanced posing and killing it!! We made our way around the park and at one point we had to dodge some falling apples to get the shot but luckily we were quick and avoided any thunks on the head. :::: sweating laughing emoji here ::::

Half way through our session I noticed the sun peaking through some trees and wanted to bypass the bridges to catch this spot of sun so we made our way to the over grown grass and at this moment I KNEW we were going to make some magic!

It was as if this little sun patch was put there perfectly for us, I took a few minutes to capture a few variations of poses in our short time here, I knew the sun wouldn’t last long so we made the most of it!

As soon as we started to walk away the sun spot that had just filled this little pocket of grass had completely vanished! Perfect timing!!

We continued on to another little part of the park and chased down the last little bit of sun poking through the trees before it completely faded off. This is why they call it the Golden Hour!!!

We finished up our session here and walked to our vehicles; we said our goodbyes and I thanked them for being such amazing models and trusting me completely to which Josh said “You made us feel like movie stars!!” GAH!! That is EXACTLY how I want my clients to walk away feeling!! I know you don’t know what is going on behind my camera so it’s my job to let you know how great you’re doing throughout your entire session and you get to see the end result in no time!

I couldn’t be happier with how everything of this session turned out! The couple, the outfits, the weather, the leaves, just all came together for the perfect photo session! Thank you so much Josh and Tiffany!! It was my absolute pleasure!
