Joe and Jennifer recently lost a pregnancy last year and it was a devastating blow to both of them and us as their family. They realized after some medical issues that they would need a little medical help to sustain a pregnancy and within the year, they found out they were expecting a rainbow baby. (A baby born after a loss of a child). I was excited to hear that Jenny wanted to have her maternity photos by the falls in Watkins Glen! I haven’t photographed there before but I have always wanted to! It was a cloudy day (which I wasn’t sad about, I love cloudy day photos!) and we headed out before Jenny’s baby shower later that afternoon.
We started at the falls and captured the majority of their images but I couldn’t help but want to make one more stop before we headed back for the shower. We stopped at the Watkins Glen Pier and with a little luck and a little careful planning, we were able to capture two other backgrounds just within a short distance and I’m so glad we did! I love the images that they provided!
We were able to get this quick capture moments before running to the truck to get them back in time but I’m so glad we did! LOL! Here are my favorites from our session!
